📜 Universal Rules 📜

These rules apply to the whole server, including both public and private threads.

1. Be mindful and considerate of others, we will not suffer bigotry and/or identity dismissal/policing, here.
   • The 'others' in this statement also refers to people outside the server: Gossip and Gawking at others is not acceptable.,
   • With regard to slurs, we do not restrict how individuals self-identify, but be mindful of the applications of bigotry. There is a difference between using terms for reclamation and using them to be disruptive while using the guise of reclamation to get away with being contentious. Being contentious for the sake of it, will not be tolerated.
2. Be kind to yourself, do not self-depreciate or diminish yourself.
   • This extends to the act of making yourself lesser as a means of 'complimenting' others.
3. No Venting. If you are in a state of distress, please turn to close personal communities. We are not equipped to assist others in a state of distress or panic.
   • Expressing general grievances or frustration is not considered venting.,
   • In the event of heavy topics, try to keep the goal of your topics productive in some manner. Rants that shut out all other conversation really sour the atmosphere of the server.
4. Please be cautious about hot-button topics such as real-world religion, politics, astrology, philosophy, diet, and so on.
   • Brief mentions are typically fine, but we do not want conversation spiraling out of control over the topic.
5. Sourcing is required when sharing any creative works that are not yours. We are very diligent about this.
   • The criteria for sourcing is 'can a stranger find the artist easily from what you posted'. Direct links are best, but stating the complete and properly spelled artist name and their platform is acceptable.,
   • Watermarks only count as a source if they're easy to read and adhere to the above caveat.
6. Keep topics in their respective categories to the best of your ability.
   • If you catch the topic drifting please self-regulate to move to the appropriate channel, otherwise a mod will request you move or the topic be dropped.
7. Keep roleplay to the roleplay sections. We do not want impromptu roleplay in the general discussions area of the server.
   • Using Tupperbox to make a comment from the POV of a character is permissible when used sparingly.
8. No self-promo without permission. At the moment we do not have a section for promotion, this may change in the future.
   • Inversely, please do not beg for things.
9. Do Not Spam. Please be mindful of how often you post links in the curation categories.
   • Give other posts the space to breath if you can when posting
10. Please do not post any personally identifying photos of yourself or your residence. Photos of your pets, food, the things you make, are perfectly fine.
    • Do not post images of people of which the subject does not appear to have consented to the spread of that image.
11. Do not upload or share links to ripped goods, this includes IP's from large companies to individuals. We want our server to remain in good standing.
• That includes links to free streaming services.

🔊 Voice Call Rules 🔊

All Text conversations will be carried out in the attached text chats of each VC. We will not be making dedicated text to speech channels.

1. All universal server rules apply.
2. Do not use the Voice Text channels to have conversations if you are not in call.
   • The occasional statement is fine, but not full conversations.
3. Keep sexually charged topics to the appropriately flagged channels, only.
   • This only applies to the topics, we will not be hosting sexually explicit voice role-play in this server.
4. Stricter regulations are expected for contentious topics listed in section 4 of the universal rules. It is much more difficult to be casual about these topics in voice.
   • Streams featuring real-life violence, bigotry, and/or harm will not be tolerated.
5. Topic of the call is dictated by whomever starts the call. If others would like to focus on something else, they can start a call in a different channel.
   • Use the Channel Status to let other's know the intended direction of your call.
   • If someone is already streaming, and the topic does not suggest multi-stream, ask if you would like to stream as well before you do.
6. Please be mindful of call saturation and split the group where appropriate.
   • The person(s) that start the call have priority over the call's central topic.
7. The Squad channels are intended for those that are specifically teaming up in a video game.
   • The group that started the call takes priority, do not talk over the members that are in a group together in-game
8. Do not use calls as background noise; some level of participation is expected if you join a voice call, even if it's in text.
   • You may be kicked from call if a mod believes you are idling with no intent to engage.
9. Don't abuse soundboards or make disruptive or annoying sounds in the call.

‼️ Spoilers and Warnings ‼️

The only restriction we have on topics that cannot be shared in this server are ones that are not permitted by Discord itself.
This applies to fictional topics. Real photos of these subjects are not permitted in the server.

However, we do require some subjects to be presented in a spoiler before they are shared. Most of our spoiler requirements are centered around what is visually upsetting. This list is determined by the moderation team and any adjustments are up to the sole discretion of the moderation team.

Visual Subjects That Require Spoiler

• Gore - For this server, Gore is classified as anything that is snuff, fatal or near-fatal without intervention. This also includes extreme body horror. Blood and Bruises are not Gore.
• Torture - Scenes of intentional malignant harm to the body, whether consensual or not. Does not include general impact play.
• Nullification - This pertains to the complete surgical removal of external sex organs. Does not include those that lack them naturally.
• Non-consensual Sex - Scenes depicting overtly non-consensual sex acts. Dubious sex is a matter of 'use your best judgement'.
• Unsanitary - Includes Vomit, Scat, Watersports and so on.
• Bestiality - Sex involving real life animals, regardless of their own sentience. Further explanation can be found below.
• Abuse - Physical, Emotional, Psychological, and Sexual abuse.
• Bigotry - All forms of real-world systematic oppression.
• Self-Harm - This applies to depictions of Self-harm and Suicide.
• Eye-Strain - Images that flash and or have extreme color intensity that could influence seizure or migraine.

In all cases, stylization does not matter.
All subjects in this list would need to be blatant, this means it only requires a spoiler if it is visually present in the image, or, if it is described in detail. Mention or suggestion of these subjects will not require a spoiler.

Bestiality Details

For the purposes of this server, Real Life Animals refers to any animal that has existed since 4000 BC. Anything extinct before 4000 BC will not be considered a 'Real Life Animal'. A DoDo is considered a Real Life Animal, but a Mammoth is not.

For animals considered 'Real Life Animals' this may also include animals that appear as a 'Real Life Animal' with only minor changes that make them fantastical. A unicorn that is indistinguishable from a real horse with a horn attached would require a spoiler, but a unicorn that is highly deviant would not. A Black Shuck that looks like an average black dog would need a spoiler, a Black Shuck that is unrecognizable as a dog, would not.

In all cases, style is not a factor. Realistic or stylistic still requires a spoiler if it falls under the above options.

All Spoilers Require Description

When using a spoiler you must provide a description for what is behind the spoiler. A stranger would need to know what they're getting into before they click on it. Censoring a single word provides no help and is considered more obtrusive than it is helpful.

Exceptions

Threads created with a subject in mind and warning in the first post (with no visuals), all subsequent posts in that thread do not need a spoiler. For example, if you make a thread in Curation, and explicitly warn in text the intent to include Non-Con in the types of subjects in that thread, you may post Non-Con in the thread without spoilers.

Likewise in the resident workshops, if warnings are placed at the very beginning of the thread and pinned in the thread, you do not need to spoiler for any subject you made clear and explicit warning, for.

In all cases, you will still need to spoiler for subjects you did not warn for in the initial thread post.

Be Considerate of Boundaries and Seek Consent

As this server dives into sexual subjects, consent is the most important value we have in this server. We will ban members of this server that repeatedly violate boundaries of consent.

Ask before you assume. The mere act of making and sharing sexually explicit works does not mean it is an open invitation for all sexually charged interaction. Everyone has their own thresholds of comfort when it comes to topics of sexual and intimate natures, which is why it is important to engage in open and direct communication to ensure everyone is participating in a way that is comfortable to them. Please remember that how one member interacts with another member does not mean that is inherent permission for all others to engage in the same behavior. Many people build their own rapport with others and trust them to engage in a way that makes them feel safe and comfortable, but would find that type of engagement a sign of danger in other members they have not built that same rapport, with.

If you are unsure if a user is comfortable with certain jokes or advances toward their characters or even them, ask them clearly and considerately, before you act. And if you would like a specific kind of interaction with your work or characters, state that clearly so that others may feel invited to do so. Likewise, if you do not want specific interaction with our work you are welcome to make that known as well.

Interact in Good Faith

In any online community, there will be many people all with different styles of communication, and misunderstandings can happen. But the worst can be avoided if we all approach conversation in good faith and take the time to bridge misunderstandings and ask intent before we respond in the worst possible way.

If someone said something that could be interpreted multiple ways based on inflection, ask them what they mean and try to be considerate about it and not assume the worst.

In the event someone is acting derisively toward you, try to not antagonize the situation further, and let a mod know if it is out of hand.

Don't 'Dump and Run'

This community is about fostering a shared interest and connection with one another. Please put in an effort to interact with others in some way in this server. Give feedback, react to posts, show people in this server that you are listening and you appreciate them. Likewise, be gracious to others of the appreciation they show you.

Please don't treat this server like a place to advertise and 'grow your audience' and nothing else.

Avoid Mini-Modding

It is perfectly fine give members a friendly nudge or reminder of where things go or the expected behavior, but please try to avoid treating an interaction like you yourself are a moderator if you are not.

🛡️ Enforcement 🛡️

This server does not operate on any 'strike' system, instead we operate on a case by case basis and tailor our action based on the frequency and severity of the problem. How a member responds and adjusts to Mod action also factors into how we regard future infractions. We are no strangers to adjustment periods and misunderstandings; being considerate of others and adjusting to the environment when requested is what matters most.

Small reminders are not anything to be ashamed of or something that would be held against you. If you are asked to move a topic or spoiler something, all you have to do is what we ask, no explanations required. However, causing a scene or disrespecting our moderators when being asked to make minor changes will not reflect well on you and we will remember it.

We keep records of all moderator action, to ensure all mods at any time have access to any context needed for consistent moderation.

Please keep in mind, sometimes there may be instances where a member has not personally broken any rules, but their behavior and actions have been upsetting or disrupted to the flow and tone of the community. We do contact members where this occurs and we will remove members that do not change to better fit the community we wish to build
